Energy Savings for Richmond Homes Using Radiant Barrier Reflective Insulation


Radiant barrier reflective insulation is a great way to reduce energy bills, especially for Summer cooling. The insulation consist of a reflective material, usually aluminum, over another material such as Kraft paper or plastic. Instead of absorbing hot or cold air, this insulation reflects the radiation that transfers the heat. For best results the use of certified installers is recommended.
